Author: Ondřej Šťovíček

Summer is in full swing and with it the summer vacation season. Many of you are planning to travel by plane – whether within Europe or abroad. If you regularly use CBD products, you may be wondering:

Can I take CBD oil, capsules or ointment with me on the plane?

We have prepared an overview of the current rules, tips and recommendations for you so that you can enjoy a peaceful vacation without unnecessary stress.

✅ CBD on the plane: Yes, but with conditions

You can take CBD products with you on the plane, but only under certain conditions:

The THC content must not exceed 0.3%
✅ The product must be legal in the destination country
We recommend transporting in checked luggage - not in hand luggage
It is useful to have the Certificate of Analysis (COA) with you, which you can find with each Cannadorra product

💡 Bottles of CBD oils (up to 10 or 30 ml) meet the hand luggage limit (max. 100 ml), but it still applies - it is safest to put CBD in your suitcase.

Here is a list of countries where CBD is still illegal:

Saudi Arabia – strict ban, risk of arrest
United Arab Emirates (UAE) – ban on possession, transport and use
❌ Singapore – CBD considered a drug, high fines and imprisonment
Malaysia – ban on all cannabis products

⚠️ Thailand – from June 2025, CBD will be re-criminalized without a prescription
⚠️ South Korea – partially allowed for medicinal purposes, but highly regulated

❗ Our tip: If you are traveling outside of Europe, it is better not to take CBD with you.
