Very often, CBD oils are referred to by terms such as full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, or CBD isolate. Do you know the difference between these meanings? It is always CBD oil, just with a different cannabinoid content. Let's explain this terminology in more detail. This will also help you understand how different CBD oils work differently and which product is right for you or your pets.
There are three types of CBD oils:
1. FULL-SPECTRUM - also known as "full-spectrum cannabinoids"
2. BROAD-SPECTRUM - also known as "broad-spectrum cannabinoids".
3. CBD ISOLATE
What is the difference between them?
The difference between broad-spectrum, full-spectrum, and CBD isolate is simply the content of chemical compounds found in each product.
Full Spectrum CBD contains all of the cannabinoids and other plant compounds found in the hemp plant, including THC (THC contains only up to the legally allowed level, which is not psychoactive). Broad-spectrum CBD contains all cannabinoids and plant compounds except THC. CBD oil with isolate contains only CBD.
CBD oils with isolate
Such oils contain only CBD (cannabidiol) and do not contain any other cannabinoids, terpenes, or other fatty acids from the plant.
These oils are made simply by mixing pure crystal CBD in a carrier oil.
The advantage of these oils is the lower price. The downside is that you miss out on the potential "entourage" effect that exists when the full spectrum of cannabinoids is present in the oil.

CBD Isolate is also often used in vaping products.
But, for example, CBD drops for dogs and other animals require the use of products with undetectable THC content - based on studies conducted, CBD oil with isolate is defined as the only safe product for animals and only this oil can receive the veterinary product label.

Full-spectrum
Full-spectrum CBD oils contain CBD and all other cannabinoids (including THC), terpenes, and fatty acids that occur naturally in the hemp plant.
Full-spectrum oils contain the same substances as the complete hemp plant - none of the cannabinoids or other compounds are removed, only the THC is chromatographically reduced to legal and non-psychoactive levels. You can find out the THC level in products that are full spectrum by analysis - Cannadorra products are full-spectrum, have all the necessary analyses, and are a notified food supplement.

The advantage of full-spectrum CBD oil is that many other chemical compounds and cannabinoids from the whole plant have therapeutic properties. For example, terpenes in the hemp plant are known to have anti-inflammatory properties. Other cannabinoids are thought to enhance the overall benefits of CBD use.
A 2005 study concluded that CBD oil with whole-plant extract has greater therapeutic potential than CBD alone. Because the oil contains all cannabinoids and other chemical compounds, you get the positive effects of chemical synergies called the companion effect.
Broad-spectrum
Broad-spectrum CBD oil is the middle ground between CBD isolate and full-spectrum CBD oils. It contains all cannabinoids and other chemical compounds except THC.
Broad-spectrum CBD oil is not as easy to find as other types of CBD oil. Like its counterparts, broad-spectrum CBD oil goes through a normal extraction process. For places where THC is illegal, the advantage of broad-spectrum CBD oil is that in the final stages of processing, the THC is removed from the extract.
Summary
It's always up to you what kind of CBD oil you choose. For some foreign countries where THC is banned altogether, CBD isolate is preferred. For maximum effect, we recommend using full-spectrum CBD oil and for your pets, we recommend using only approved veterinary products with undetectable amounts of THC (CBD isolate).
If you are purchasing CBD oil, always choose carefully from whom you choose to purchase the product. Analysis and full product information is a must, including whether it is full, isolated, or broad-spectrum.
