Since 2011, he has been accompanying the topics of self-love, healing the inner child and how to release stress and fear once and for all. She conducted 170 seminars, created 30 audio meditations and 3 online programs. He has the book Textbook of Self-Love (50,000 copies sold), it is the first professional book on self-love on our market by a Czech author.

Lucie is also a fan of hemp and CBD products, which she recommends to her clients, among other things, so she interviewed Pavel Čermák, head of the counselling centre and therapist of Cannadorra, about CBD.

In the interview you will learn:

  • the legality of hemp and CBD preparations
  • amount of THC when taking a CBD preparation
  • synthetic ingredients versus natural - can natural hemp be replaced?
  • not only CBD but also CBG - another miraculous part of the hemp plant
  • hemp and use in the body, during breastfeeding, for children
  • hemp, CBD + CBG for mental health problems
  • and more...

Interview

  • Hello, my name is Lucie Kolaříková, I am a psychologist, a guide to self-love, the treatment of fear. Today I have a rare guest, he is the main advisor of the hemp counselling company Cannadorra, Pavel Čermák. I'm so glad we met here today. I am a big promoter of CBD, CBD oils, liquids. In this interview, I will ask Pavel a series of questions I received from my viewers that will help you answer the questions of what CBD is and how it helps. Personally, I consider CBD as a huge miracle, because it calms beautifully, relaxes, deepens sleep - these are the effects that they wake up to themselves. It also helps me to go through stress either through work, child, etc. CBD can also be used completely differently, for other reasons. We will discuss all this today. I would like to introduce you to Pavel first.

Hello, Lucie. My name is Pavel Čermák and I work in the company Cannadorra as hemp advisor and therapist. Our company has been on the markets for about 6 years and we are trying to actively educate the general public about hemp because the society's awareness of hemp can already be said at a higher level, but it is still not at the level it should be - still he also has prejudices against legal hemp. Therefore, it would be good if we said some such differences today.
I would start with CBD. CBD or cannabidiol, it is one of the 120 cannabinoids in the hemp plant. Thanks to research, cannabinoids are growing every year. CBD lacks the psychoactivity, making it legal in many states. It acts primarily on the central nervous system and also connects to our endocannabinoid system. Let's explain CBD is called the so-called panacea. Our body produces so-called endocannabinoids, which bind to endocannabinoid receptors (they regulate homeostasis), whose production under various circumstances can either slow down or stop the malfunctioning process of the organism that endocannabinoids administered. Therefore, the supply of phytocannabinoids from hemp can regulate processes that the body can no longer regulate on its own. Also, in many cases, it is necessary to use hemp for a long time either it neurological problems, non-regenerative diseases, oncology.

  • Thank you very much. I was wondering about synthetic CBD and I want to ask if there are any differences in effects between plant and synthetic?

Good question. Synthetics will never achieve the same effects as the classic hemp extract, where there are many substances that create synergies. There are not only the cannabinoids we have already mentioned, there are terpenoids - substances that create the typical smell of hemp; there are flavonoids and many other substances that work synergistically and create a complex process. Synthetics lack this, and therefore will never achieve such complex effects as natural cannabis. Of course, synthetics are also far overdosed. That's why I personally don't like working with synthetics, or only with the CBD isolate, and which also lacks other components that form a complex process.

  • Thanks, so keeping broad-spectrum products is best. So, when I use CBD, for example, to calm down or sleep, the other substances can harmonize something else in my body, and it also supports the effect of CBD. Do I get it right?

Exactly. These substances support each other's effect. Now we have a new preparation that has actually passed your testing and is a mixture of CBD and CBG. The point is that CBD has a certain effect, and after all, when we added CBG in half the concentration, I observe that in terms of feedback, certain symptoms decreased much more. By adding CBG at a concentration of 2%, certain effects have indeed exacerbated the effects on the whole range of problems.

  • I myself have the experience that CBD and CBG perform each one separately - I have tried both CBD and CBG and I must say that the effect is different. Although I can't describe it literally, I feel calm in both of them, but in a different way for each of them. I also have one more question here - what is the difference between CBD and CBG? And if you can tell where you prefer to use CBD and where CBG.

It's a fairly frequently asked question. The point is that CBG is a relatively young cannabinoid. So, there is not much research on CBG yet, so it is not clear whether it is more effective for any disease than CBD itself. It is generally claimed that CBG better regenerates skin cells, so it is suitable for the preparation of certain ointments, cosmetics, gastrointestinal problems. Here, however, I would recommend a combination of both cannabinoids. I would rather recommend CBG for cataracts or glaucoma, for which there is research that shows its greater effect. CBG - cannabigerol, in contrast to CBD, responds directly to our receptors - CB1 and CB2, to which CBD responds indirectly. So, there is already a relatively big difference. But in general, I can't say which disease CBG is suitable for. Personally, I start with CBD by some problem to see the effect, and then CBG is can be added - either alone or in combination. But of course, everything is individual.

  • Great, we will talk about diseases later. Another important question - is CBD addictive?

The definition of addictiveness is quite treacherous. Of course, if you have a problem and you use something that helps you, you actually get into a psychical habit because it reduces the symptoms of the problem. But it is definitely not the case that you start taking CBD, the effect will be small, no or really minimal, you will stop it and there will be some withdrawal symptoms. If the CBD does not suit or meet the effect and expectations, the CBD can be discontinued from day to day without your body wanting it back. So, in this case, CBD is really not addictive.

Interview With Lucie Kolarikova And Pavel Cermak

  • Do you need to increase the dose for long-term use?

Of course, it takes a while for a person to get to the ideal dose. According to research, after a certain time, the sensitivity of "cups" of receptors can be filled and overfilled, in which case it is good to take a short break – for one week, 14-day, and then start with the minimum dose and then get to the same or smaller dose. But if your body doesn't tell you that breaks are needed, they don't recommend taking it. It can be seen that the "cups" are overfilled, that the symptoms are slowly beginning not to return to such intensity, but to return.

Micro dosage is important for hemp because the ideal dose is very individual. Based on weight, age and diagnosis, the ideal starting and following dose cannot be determined, so it is better to take it more often daily than a large dose at once, start slowly, and increase after about 14 to about a month or two until the full dose is fully effective.

  • How much does such a product actually contain THC? Can it be found in urine or blood? Does it limit people in their lives in any way, for example, if they want to donate blood?

THC in our products, which is legal in the vested state in Europe, occurs in an amount of 0.2%, which in such an amount will cause absolutely no psychoactivity. Therefore, it is also suitable for newborns, for children of preschool and school-age, and you really don't have to worry, the psychoactivity has no effect. As for blood, it will contain minimal amounts of THC, and legally available cannabinoids have not been tested and are not an obstacle to blood donation. In general, however, it is recommended to use THC-free CBD when making a living from driving.

  • A very common question is also: pregnancy, breastfeeding… Can CBD be used during pregnancy, breastfeeding, for baby teeth or is there an age restriction?

As I said, cannabinoids are a natural substance for the body. The baby begins to form an endocannabinoid system and produce its first endocannabinoids on the basis of breast milk intake, which is a source of endocannabinoids from the mother, which start the whole process of internal production of endocannabinoids. Hemp is one of the herbs that can be used throughout pregnancy. You do not have to be afraid to take CBD in the form of drops, tea, capsules. CBD alleviates digestive problems, improves sleep, calms the nervous system. It is also recommended to use them, as well as hemp products such as hemp oil, hemp seed, which contain a lot of amino acids that can help form lactation. So, yes, it can be used and even recommended.

  • I will mention the diseases later. For which diseases has the effect of CBD been demonstrated, what do you have experience with?

I will divide it from the most common positive feedback to less frequent ones. The most common positive feedback is in the field of epilepsy, autism, ADHD, developmental dysphasia, certainly also mentally - not only depression, anxiety, panic attacks, but also in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's, where the tremor, tone, sleep improves, and of course in Alzheimer's disease, where it does not clearly improve the symptoms and signs of the disease but slows down the progression. We also have feedback in diabetics, where CBD significantly accelerates the sugar metabolite, especially in type 2. CBD also has a good effect on hypertension, on high blood pressure. Due to the fact that the substances are natural for the body, it is such a "panacea". There are many diseases for which the effect has not yet been proven, but the potential is still there. The combination of CBD with CBG has great antibacterial effects. Many users give me feedback on long-term unresolved or poorly resolved gram-positive or gram-negative bacteria such as staphylococcus, streptococcus. That's where I see a positive effect in many cases. Certainly, the CBD also has a sedative effect on sleep, especially in the form of a capsule, where the CBD is absorbed more in the digestive tract, has a much greater sedative effect.

For proper dosing, it is also important to say that hemp needs to get as close to the core of the problem as possible If part of the head is affected - apply under the tongue; if the problem is in the abdominal cavity and under it - apply capsules, or suppositories, for example; If the problem is found in the lungs it is better to vaporize hemp.

  • And what about immune support and cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids can support the function of the immune system, but if the immune system has exaggerated reactions, as in allergies, CBD can calm it down, as well as in certain autoimmune diseases. For some types of viral infections, cannabinoids can shorten the duration of an acute infection.

  • Does CBD help with back pain, menstrual pain?

It is generally claimed that THC has the greatest analgesic effect, but CBD also has it. Rather, it is pain that arises from the central nervous system, whether it is neuropathy, polyneuropathy, migraine headaches, neck pain caused by the accumulation of stress. For joint problems, the effect is not so strong, rather 50 to 50. So, it is always important to try the CBD pain, because we are each original.

  • Another common question - how to combine CBD with psychotropic drugs. There is also a great hope for many that they no longer have to take them - for fear, antidepressants, psychotics. Can CBD be replaced?

It's a pretty common question. CBD can slow down the liver metabolite in some way. In general, if you take CBD an hour before taking a conventional drug, that drug will not break down into so many inactive metabolites and will work more. So, when you combine it together, you can take less of that conv. drug with the same efficacy. However, there are types of drugs that break down the same enzyme in the liver as CBD, so there are some interaction and a reduction in the effectiveness of both the drug and CBD. Unfortunately, there is currently no study describing what drugs are taking place. In general, however, hemp has no problem with the use of antidepressants, antipsychotics and drugs for the psyche. But also good at the beginning to combine it together and over time, when you get to the microdose, where you will feel most of those symptoms that failed conv. drug reduced. Then the dose stops and then comes the phase when we can gradually reduce the antipsychotic, but with a minimum amount, where it will replace the CBD. You can always consult with us about this.

I want to say for the last time so that no one is afraid of it. If it doesn't help anymore, it certainly won't hurt. Even if there is a side effect, it will definitely not take long.

  • Thank you very much, Pavel, for today's conversation and I hope that we were able to answer any questions.

Thank you very much too! See you!
