Flaxseed oil is obtained by gentle pressing of flax seeds at low temperatures, thanks to which it retains a high content of valuable omega-3 fatty acids (ALA). These essential fatty acids are an important part of the daily nutrition of animals and support healthy skin, a shiny coat and overall vitality.

Flaxseed oil is suitable for dogs, cats and horses as a daily feed supplement. Thanks to its high digestibility, it is also popular with animals that have a more sensitive digestion or during a change of feed ration.

Why give flaxseed oil to animals?

Flaxseed oil is a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids (ALA), which support the proper functioning of the body and are important for healthy skin, a quality coat and the overall condition of animals.

When is it appropriate to add flaxseed oil to the feed?

• for older animals as a source of quality unsaturated fatty acids.

How to give the oils correctly?

• Start with a smaller dose and move to the recommended dosage over a few days.
• Give it regularly every day – the effect of quality fatty acids appears gradually.
• You can (and we warmly recommend it) alternate the oils during the year, so that the animal receives a wider spectrum of omega fatty acids and other naturally contained nutrients. It is very useful to alternate during the year with hemp oil and salmon oil.
• After opening, store the oil in a cool and dark place, ideally at a temperature below 16 °C, so that it retains its quality.

How to dose flaxseed oil for dogs?

The recommended dosage is 5 ml (1 teaspoon) per every 10 kg of body weight daily.

How to dose flaxseed oil for cats?

The recommended dosage is 2–5 ml daily.

How to dose flaxseed oil for horses?

We recommend adding to the daily feed ration: 30–60 ml daily according to weight and workload.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE: Store in a cool and dark place (max. 16 °C). Use within 3 months after opening.
