This year, after experience from last year, we decided to return to the beautiful village Olesna located in middle Bohemia. Again, the local nature offered us great conditions for hemp growth and we enjoyed this year's Harvest again.
Traditional hemp harvest
We picked hemp for hemp tea manually in a field surrounded by pine trees and a nearby hop garden, where we found refuge at a time when we needed to hide in the shade from the sun and the command tent was overfilled :-)
Despite this year's fight against drought, our crop was beautifully green and fragrant :-) We harvested by hand scrubbing into the bags and bet on natural air drying on the soil.
The family atmosphere was not missing
This year Harvest was conceived really family - we had about 20 temporary workers from the whole Czech Republic and there were also kids and dogs, because we are one big family! For lunch we had a delicious goulash prepared on the first day, a baked chicken and a cold beer from the newly opened brewery Olešná - well we can enjoy it :-)
Swing-like weather
We are slowly getting used to the fact that it is always raining the second day at Harvest. This year was no different. However, this did not discourage us and we relaxed from harvesting by devoting ourselves to other activities - exploring the surrounding nature, etc.
Hemp tea with love from Cannadorra
The hemp herb is dried naturally by air, which will be processed and used as hemp teas. So, you can look forward to premium quality.
